Charlotte Home Companion Part Deux

It was pretty cool. It almost turned into a Charlotte NPR PR campaign. However, it annoys me when Northern people think that any southern person would EVER use "y'all" to refer to one person. We might say "Who all" when asking people a question about the number of people who will be attending an event. But we never say "you all" to one person.

Only criticism in a show that made the front page of the Charlotte Observer. It was really a lot of fun.

I listened to the show this
weekend, it was funny. I do agree
that the "Southerner" jokes are
overdone. I am originally from
Louisiana--you are either a Cajun
or a crook.Y'all gotta have tough
skin--ya hear!

P.S. We are thrilled to be getting
our first "urban" Target here in
Washington DC. YAHOO!

I listened to it too and I'm a PHC fan...but felt the "Southern jokes" were played a little thick. And I'm a damn Yankee and like me some good Southern jokes. =)

I have lived here 12 years and never seen cole slaw on a cheeseburger!? On a BBQ samich for sure, but on a burger?
