That's definitely the highest HcG we've gotten this early in the game. It could still be indicative of twins and it could also be just a high number for a singleton. The good news is that I've already passed the threshold for not having a miscarriage based on an academic study.
Honestly, I thought the number would be higher. But really, we are happy. We go back on Tuesday the 11th for our follow-up blood work.

Congrats! Your numbers could reflect a twin pregnancy or a strong singleton. Your numbers are great!
Your miscarriage rate will drop to 3-5% when you see a heart beat at your 6-7 week ultrasound check.
The study you are citing was published in 1997 and that information has since changed.
I have miscarried 9 times, and one of my initial betas was 800 and I miscarried.
The pregnancy that stuck was my son who as born in 2000. My first beta was 37 with him.
If your beta doubles like it's supposed to, then that is very promising:)
